I don't belive this. Square enix must have given Sony some indication that the game was going multiplatform.
gosh is like everybody forgot about god of war, heavy rain, wkc, lpb, and grant turismo 5. There is still plenty of more games out there, and you guys still have ff13, plus sony first party titles.
Sony knew that the age of exclusivity is over with third parties. They saw this coming, sony still has the most first party titles with the most talent out there. I am excited to see what is the secret game that sony showed the media that wowed them. :)

playstaion fan should still be excited! you guys get to play ff13 still. Its still a beautiful game, and what know that its multiplatform game you guys won't purchase it. guys relax you still have versus, and you all knew that third part exclusives were done with.
In my honest opinion the Microsoft press conference was underwhelming. Why you ask! Because they showed games already showed before. They basically copied off xmb and wii avatars with their new interface. and they announce ff13 at the end which is going multiplatform. They didn't announce no new exciting exclusive at all! we already knew gears and fable were exclusive, and they showed a bunch of multiplatform games. Dude you have to understand that there is no such thing as third party exclusive. Companies like square enix and so on want to maximize profit. You remember that there was a article where wada said that their first party titles are more important then third parties? You know why he said this? is because sony foreseen this. it seems that microsoft just want to get rid off all the 20 gig version of xbox 360, just to introduce a different model.
Hopefully with the release of home this fall, Sony's online problem will change.
In regards to the article, i don't think Sony feels pressured by Microsoft price cut. I mean if you look at Europe, you would know that Microsoft price cut did little to nothing over there. The ps3 is still outselling the 360 worldwide, and has out sold the 360 in America a couple of times already this year. And one more thing i would like to add is, there are more than one way to respond to Microsoft price cut, a good idea would be to bundle the ps3 with like 2 game and a extra controller.

its probably just time exclusive. Notice how infinity discovery is listed as a xbox exclusive but star ocean isn't. and on top of that all the previous star ocean game are being released for the psp

Right now right now, sony does not need to drop the price. But they need to drop it by atleast october, november for the holiday season.
